Hello my Frenchie friends! Happy New Year (I'm a little late) and welcome to the first of many, Pardon My French Bull Blogs!

So why start a dog blog? To help answer some of the more common questions I get from pet owners of course!

I have a passion for learning and sharing knowledge… especially about animals! Sharing and listening to others experiences are some of the best ways to become a better pet owner and breeder. I’ve wanted to write my bull blog for a looooong time now. I started thinking more about it shortly after I stopped working at the vet clinic. This last year has been a huge positive transition for our family! I stopped working a 9-5 to pursue our family goals and my personal goals. Now I work a 24/7 for my own businesses and family! Kind of kidding, but kind of not if you know about breeding. However, the change has been fantastic!

Even though I love what I'm doing now, I miss sharing information and talking with clients. Thankfully I still get to do a little of that through the farm and frenchies. I want to share some of my experiences and thoughts with like minded animal people! Some of the topics I’d like to cover are health, training, genetics and things I wish I knew earlier. This will be an evolving blog as things come up. I might even periodically include some guest animal topics from our farm or other weird family adventures. The blog will mainly be about dogs and French bulldogs specifically; however, I have a really wide variety of animal knowledge. I’ve owned everything from snakes, lizards, ferrets, hamsters, turtles, goats, chickens, alpaca, cats, tropical fish, saltwater fish… there’s definitely more! I also have a biology degree and have worked at a pet store, zoo, research, vet clinic and now my own businesses. I think I’ve only had one job that didn’t include working with animals.

The more knowledgeable you are about caring for and training your pets the more enjoyable it is for both of you. You almost learn to speak the same language, which makes life easier! I hope to help new owners navigate pet ownership by sharing not only my successes, but challenges. I absolutely love the French Bulldog breed and hope you find my ramblings interesting!
